Life in space is much different from life on the earth. How do astronauts live in space?
Many years ago, astronauts could eat only small pieces of dried food. But now astronauts are able to eat more everyday food like fruit, vegetables and ice cream.
All the people in space have their own rooms. They have to tie themselves to their beds or toilets, or they’ll fly away! That seems like a strange way to sleep, but astronauts say it really isn’t too bad.
Astronauts can read books, play cards, listen to music or send emails to their friends and families when they aren’t working. Sometimes they just sit and look out of the spaceship. Astronauts are hard-working whether in space or on the earth. Though the work is sometimes difficult, they are still interested in it and love their jobs. Many people agree that astronauts’ lives are very interesting and they dream of becoming astronauts.
